Contract type: Fixed term, 6 months
Salary: £34,000-£38,000 per annum (equivalent to full time, pro rata), dependent on experience

About the role
We’re looking for a part-time Researcher & Insights Strategist. Reporting to the Founder / Director, and working closely with our Creative Producers, you’ll play a key role in putting together our projects for clients.
The majority of the work will be in UK office hours, with occasional evenings needed to cover calls with US-based teams.
This is currently a part time role for 2 days per week, with the scope to expand to more days by mutual agreement.
Key responsibilities
• Running qualitative and quantitative research with our in-house panel
• Devising, writing and sending surveys, then analysing the results
• Identifying key findings and insights, writing clear summaries and pitches
• Basic data visualisation, building accessible charts and slides
• Compiling regular insights briefings and newsletters
• Organising and facilitating focus groups and workshops
• Occasionally working with third-party panels and research platforms
• Liaising with clients and freelancers about the details of projects
• Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of freelance contributors
• Handling some basic accounting and administrative tasks
Do you have these personal qualities?
• Great writing - able to write clear and concise copy, with the highest standards of proofreading and accuracy
• Curious, analytical and strategic thinking - able to see patterns in complicated datasets, spotting marketing and communications opportunities
• Proactive working - able to take initiative and work independently, or collaborate as part of a small team
• Deep knowledge and understanding of trends with Gen Z & Gen Alpha audiences, with a particular focus on pop culture, social media, music and marketing
• Amazing communication skills - able to work closely with multiple stakeholders to get the best out of them
• Motivated by deadlines, with the ability to work well under occasional moments of pressure
• Care and professionalism when handling commercially sensitive information, personal data and relationships with clients
Do you have this kind of experience?
Required: Experience involving insights and strategy in an agency-style environment, or a degree in a related field
Highly desirable: Experience in qual & quant research, social media strategy, music strategy, producing creative work aimed at young audiences
Useful: Experience in facilitating workshops, brand strategy, overseeing freelancers, working with young people, graphic design
